Convenience
Boiling water in an instant.
Boiling water in an instant.
Hot water, not hot taps.
True luxury is everyday.
Water usually can’t boil fast enough. After the unsympathetic alarm has gone off. When you’re looking forward to a nice cup of tea on a cold and damp winter’s day. When you need pasta in tomato sauce this instant. When grease and gravy have become one congealed mess in a pan. When you need to blanch delicate beans. When the baby is crying with hunger, but the bottle isn’t sterilised yet.
With GROHE Red® you can draw 100 º C water directly from the tap without having to wait. Up to three or six litres depending on the size of the boiler. Easy. Economical. And with a responsible energy balance.
Take a moment sometime to count up how often you need hot water:
ChildLock
ChildLock does not rule out the possibility of scalding from 100 °C water, but it does make it practically impossible: for the boiling water to flow, you need to first pull and then turn the left handle.
The child-friendliness of the fitting has been independently tested and certified.
GROHE Cooltouch® Technology
The GROHE CoolTouch® technology insulates the fitting so well that you can touch it without any risk at all. Even for those little fingers which sometimes touch things they shouldn’t.
Our engineers have found a solution to childhood curiosity and grown-up absentmindedness.
We don’t just want to make your life more convenient, we also want to give you more space in the kitchen to live this life: GROHE Red® consists of just a fitting and a boiler which can be installed unobtrusively and compactly under any standard sink, making water boilers and kettles a thing of the past.

GROHE Red™ pays off. For you and the environment.
GROHE Red™ proves that convenience and concern for the environment do not have to be mutually exclusive. Unlike with a water boiler or when boiling water on a hob, with our innovation you only draw as much water as you need. This saves water, energy and even costs:
In basic mode, the GROHE Red™ boilers cost just 10 cent* a day to maintain the water at 100 °C once heated. Equally impressive is the price for boiling water:
You draw 0.25 litres four times a day:
Standby costs per day 10 cent
Consumption costs per day for 4 x 0.25 litres 3 cent
Total costs per day 13 cent
You draw 1 litre four times a day:
Standby costs per day 10 cent
Consumption costs per day for 4 x 1 litre 8 cent
Total costs per day 18 cent
